5 Inspirational internet gurus

Hello every one! I'm back at it again with the blog posts (damn Daniel voice lol). No, but seriously! I've been feeling heavily inspired by a few entrepreneurs and I wanted to share them with you! Some of them are youtubers, bloggers, and/or clothing line owners. All of them have a few thing in common that inspire me most. Number 1.They are young. 2.They take risks 3.They embrace creativity.

The first person I want to talk about is Shameless Maya! Maya is an entrepreneur mostly known for a social media experiment that she conducted on youtube. The experiment was a shameless journey, where she decided to see what would happen is she shamelessly promoted herself. To even her own surprise she was extremely successful and quickly gained a large following. The following of course created many opportunities which Maya, of course, capitalized on. On of which consisted of working with Prince! yes. Prince the singer! I think what inspired me most about her is how humbling watching her journey was. I She just reminded me to take risks and to unapologetically be yourself. It has been a few years since Maya Started this journey but it certainly hasn't stopped. I still keep up with her and watch her youtube videos religiously. this year she has created her own web series! catch up on her journey by subscribing to her youtube channel called, "Shameless Maya."

Number 2 on my list is Drew Scott! Drew is a men's fashion blogger. What drew me to Drew (haha pun unintended) was his aesthetic! I'm always looking to increase my aesthetic and his minimal and edgy style fits perfectly with (my wanna be)mine. Drew also has a youtube, which is how I found him. Every. Single. Video. is edited to perfection leaving me drooling over his skills. Although 36,900 subscribers is an impressive number I definitely think he deserves much more. it's only a matter of time before his channel blows up and becomes even more popular. check out Drew's blog: www.IAMDREWSCOTT.com and his youtube: "Drew Scott"

Number 3 is Jayla Koriyan! Jayla is a youtuber and self proclaimed glamaholic. she has two Youtube channels. One for beauty and fashion and a second for vlogging. I am subscribed to both but her vlog channel is what inspires me most. what I love about Jayla is how relatable she is. Just like me, she is a young college student from the south. Just by watching her vlogs you get an idea of just how determined and driven Jayla truly is. her vlogs give us a glimpse of how she handles a busy schedule on both good and bad days. I think its extremely important that her vlogs aren't sugar coated because it reminds viewers that life isn't always perfect and glamorous. Since she has been vlogging for years we basically get to watch her grow up and accomplish new goals. All in all Jayla reminds me to just do life and to enjoy every bit that you can.

Number 4 is Briana Shanee, CEO of an online clothing store called Matte. I originally discovered Briana when she was modeling on instagram. At the time, she had not yet created Matte. I had just followed her because of her perfect instagram feed. within a year of following Briana I noticed her adventurous lifestyle. First she moved from Texas to New York, and then finally Los Angeles. On social media she hinted at how risky these moves were. Me, seeing how young she was, already picked up on the hint. Shortly after moving to LA Briana began promotion a jewelry line from Matte. At the time I did not know she was the owner. with her history of modeling I assumed she was promoting for someone else. later on She released clothing and it became more apparent that Matte was her brand. Within a year of Creating Matte she has sold very many items and now lives a luxurious lifestyle. I follow her snapchat which allows me to see bts. Her story is very inspirational because she did want most young adults wouldn't. she went against the grain by not going to college, and moved across the country on her own to pursue her dreams. Although I don't know Briana personal I feel proud of her because I watched her build her business from the ground up. follow her instagram: @mattebrand to see her items.

Last but not least number 5 is Raven Elyse! Raven Elyse 22 year old is a youtuber. I have been following Raven for about one year now. what initially made me subscribe to her channel was her college life style and fleeky makeup and ootds. In her vlogs she seemed to always be having fun and conquering life so well at such a young age. I watched her graduate college and move into what would be my dream loft. But shortly after moving into her loft her vlogs took a drastic turn. she revealed that she was in fact struggling with depression and was pregnant. No lie, at first I was afraid for her seeing how much she had on her plate but after following her journey I know that she is doing very well. She of course still battles depression and anxiety but she has made many accomplishments in preparation for her daughter. Raven reminds me that everyone has problems and she also inspires by seeing how well she is doing financially by pursing a creative career.

That's it for this blog post! I hope you enjoyed it. let me know your thoughts! who inspires you? -Nadia Monique
